I’m Pete Stone, I’m currently a futures trader but in previous lives I spent time in operational analysis, simulation, software development and prime brokerage.

Given my background it’s not surprising that I take a rigorous approach to trading. In particular I’m keen on backtesting, particularly when I can automate it (to remove any subjectivity). I’m also interested in applying machine learning to my backtesting, but that’s a story for another blog.
